Do you serve the Hamptons year round — including the off-season?

Yes. Unlike some agencies that scale back in the off-season, Baylin Home Care operates year round. Our office is physically based in Southampton and our team lives and works on the East End — so we are always available regardless of the time of year.

Question 3

What is the difference between home care and private nursing?

Accepted Answer

Home care aides assist with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, meals and companionship. Private duty nurses are licensed RNs or LPNs who provide clinical care — medication management, wound care, vital sign monitoring and physician coordination. Many families start with home care and add nursing when a higher level of oversight is needed. Baylin provides both.

Do you require a long-term commitment to start services?

No. We work with a service agreement that outlines your care plan, but there is no long-term commitment required. You can adjust or stop services at any time as your needs change.
